At its most recent regauge on 11th February 2025, the cask contained 191 litres of maturing spirit, with a regauged litres of alcohol (RLA) of 122.16. The use of a second fill bourbon barrel allows the distillate to shine with clarity, highlighting Glen Garioch’s malt-forward style while developing layers of vanilla, gentle spice, and a rounded sweetness over time.

Peallach is the trade name commonly used for Ledaig, the peated single malt produced at Tobermory Distillery on the Isle of Mull. The name allows independent bottlers to showcase the distillery’s unmistakable peated character while respecting trademark protections. Known for its maritime intensity, Peallach delivers bold peat smoke alongside brine, ash and coastal spice, underpinned by an oily texture and a raw island robustness. Casks from this parcel of new make Peallach were filled on 5 December 2025 at a natural strength of 63.5% ABV into first fill sherry hogsheads with a capacity of 250 litres. The combination of heavily peated island spirit and rich sherry wood is particularly compelling. Sherry maturation has a proven track record of rounding and softening intense smoke while adding depth, sweetness and structure, a style that has historically attracted strong demand from both drinkers and collectors. Single malt Scotch whisky from the Isle of Arran, the Arran First-Fill Sherry Hogshead is produced by the Arran Distillery, which was established in 1995 and is known for its commitment to traditional methods while embracing modern techniques. This cask of Dailuaine was distilled on 4th November 2024 and filled into a refill bourbon hogshead at 63.5% ABV. The refill bourbon hogshead allows the spirit`s natural character to develop while imparting layers of vanilla, honey, and oak. At the point of filling, this cask will yield an estimated 325 bottles, although that will reduce as the cask matures.

This 2024 Glen Garioch new make spirit has been filled into a refill hogshead, allowing the spirit’s true Highland character to shine through with minimal oak influence. Expect the distillery’s signature robust and malty profile, underpinned by fresh, grassy notes and a gentle cereal sweetness. The restrained oak interaction will preserve the bright, fruity esters and delicate floral undertones, while allowing subtle maturation over time. Speyside Refill Hogshead Cask #112180 is a 10 Year Old single cask whisky that exemplifies the distillation expertise of the Speyside region, known for its subtle and complex spirits. Ardnamurchan, one of Scotland’s most westerly distilleries, has quickly gained acclaim for its balance of innovation and tradition. Its spirit combines gentle Highland fruitiness with a subtle coastal influence, creating whiskies that are complex yet harmonious. Already highly regarded among enthusiasts, single casks from Ardnamurchan offer a clear window into the distillery’s modern house style.

This 200-litre first fill bourbon barrel was filled on 10th February 2025 with unpeated new make at a natural cask strength of 63.40% ABV. The American oak maturation is set to accentuate Ardnamurchan’s orchard-fruited character with layers of vanilla, honey, and citrus brightness, while also allowing the spirit’s coastal freshness and faint smokiness to shine through. With around 200 litres of new make spirit, the barrel promises an elegant evolution, developing richness and complexity over time.

Glenlossie is a lesser-known but respected distillery in Scotland’s Speyside region. Founded in 1876 by John Duff and a group of associates, the distillery is situated near Elgin. It is known for producing a light, floral, and slightly oily single malt, a result of its distinctive purifiers installed on the lyne arms of the pot stills.

Now owned by Diageo, Glenlossie primarily contributes to blended whiskies, including the renowned Johnnie Walker range. However, its single malt releases, often found in independent bottlings or as part of the Flora & Fauna series, showcase its elegant and nuanced character. The distillery shares a site with Mannochmore, another Diageo-owned distillery, and benefits from a large dunnage and racked warehouse complex for cask maturation. This Glenlossie new make cask, filled in March 2025 at 63.5% ABV, captures the distillery’s light, fruity, and slightly oily style. Aged in a first-fill Bourbon barrel, expect a maturation marked by notes of vanilla, honey, and coconut, complementing Glenlossie’s grassy and floral character. Over time, the Bourbon cask will contribute to the whisky’s texture, adding creamy toffee, toasted oak, and citrus brightness. This 200-litre first fill Bouborn barrel was filled in March 2025.
