Chassagne-Montrachet Les Chenevottes

At 11ha, Chassagne-Montrachet Les Chenevottes is a relatively large Premier Cru vineyard producing highly regarded Chardonnay white wines. Les Chenevottes sits slightly higher up the Côte d’Or from Le Montrachet, and though at slightly higher elevation, has similar soil composition and orientation to its illustrious Grand Cru neighbour. Some white Burgundy aficionados would also that the Chardonnays these two sites produce also share a characteristic richness combined with minerality – though naturally this is amplified in the wines of the Grand Cru.
