The Robert Craig Winery is renowned for producing high-quality wines, and their Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon 2003 is no exception. Howell Mountain is a prestigious sub-appellation, known for its distinctive mountain fruit characteristics. The 2003 vintage is considered excellent in Napa Valley, known for its ripe fruit, structured tannins, and balanced acidity. Expect aromas of dark berries, cassis, cedar, and hints of earthiness. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied with firm tannins, concentrated flavours, and a long, lingering finish. It is a wine that can be enjoyed now or cellared for further development.
