Puligny-Montrachet Les Enseignères Coche-Dury 2009 is a Chardonnay from the Côte de Beaune. This parcel is situated just below the Grand Cru Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet, sharing much of its geological prestige. The 2009 growing season was warm, yielding fruit with high levels of ripeness and power. Coche-Dury utilised their signature long pressing and extended lees aging to create a wine of immense structural density and reduction. It displays the characteristic gunflint and matchstick notes alongside a core of concentrated citrus and orchard fruit.
