Meursault

Côte de Beaune, Burgundy, France

One of the most celebrated white wine appellation of the Côte d’Or, Meursault spans 381ha of vineyards between Puligny-Montrachet (to the south) and Volnay (to the north). The white wines of Meursault (a small amount of Meursault Pinot Noir is also produced) are famously rich and and buttery with hints of hazelnut, vanilla and wood spice. Meursault’s marly Comblanchian limestone soil also provides a distinctive minerality.
