The 2008 Domaine de la Vougeraie Musigny Grand Cru presents an intriguing expression of Pinot Noir. Aromatic notes include dark cherry, forest floor and a hint of sandalwood, alongside subtle herbal nuances. The palate offers a firm structure, characterised by its saline backbone that introduces a unique tension. This wine exhibits a lengthy finish, revealing layers that unfold gradually. Domaine de la Vougeraie, founded in 1999 by the Boisset family, operates biodynamically across its diverse holdings, with this Musigny sourced from a mere 0.2104 hectares of meticulously maintained vineyard.
