Domaine Coche-Dury is a highly regarded producer, which was originally established in the 1920s. Today, the estate consists of approximately nine hectares, predominantly in and around their winery in Meursault, where this village-level release comes from. The 2007 vintage is in a great place right now, crisp and focused, with lovely notes of lemon, lime and green apples. The finish is laser-like with a great mineral crunch and a wonderful herbal aftertaste.
92 Vinous
(from Les Chaumes des Perrieres) Bright, pale yellow. Tangy aromas of orange, peach and spices. Broad and lively, with intense fruit lifted by a near-perfect sugar/acid balance. Finishes with excellent cut. This is awfully good for a wine from seven-year-old vines.
