Vintage 2007
An up-and-down growing season, with a warm spring and forgettable summer across major European wine regions – Bordeaux not least – made 2007 a hit-and-miss vintage. Humid conditions entering the harvest period worked in favour of noble rot, however, leading to a banner vintage for the sweet wines of Sauternes and Tokaj.
