Currently managed by Eric Rousseau, Domaine Armand Rousseau is a highly regarded wine producer based in Gevrey-Chambertin. This release is from Mazis-Chambertin, a Grand Cru vineyard where the Domaine’s owns a 0.53-hectare plot. The 2000 vintage is a ripe and succulent wine, showing notes of cherries, rhubarb, a touch of caramel and floral undertones.
