Produced only in the best years, NOBLE is made exclusively from the Grands Crus of Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs and the Grands Crus of Pinot Noir from the Montagne de Reims. The 2004 vintage is produced from 70% Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Noir. Crystalline gold in the glass, offering up scents of lemon, mirabelle plum, pear and bergamot together with almond and honey nuances. Biscuity on the palate with notes of hazelnut and a bright, apricot and candied orange finish.

70% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir – all selected grand cru vineyards. Not much more information on the website or back label. Disgorged September 2021. My 2022 note on this exact wine says 'no malo'.
Not that much nose and quite a rich palate. Still quite lively for a 19-year-old wine but without quite the power and vivacity of the 2012. Tastes as though the dosage was quite high. (JR)Jancis Robinson26th October 2023
