The Échézeaux du Dessus Cécile Tremblay 2006 is a distinguished Grand Cru red Burgundy, produced exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes by renowned biodynamic winemaker Cécile Tremblay, who has been certified organic and biodynamic since 2005. This wine is derived from a meticulously maintained small parcel in the Du Dessus lieu-dit, situated adjacent to Grands Echézeaux. The Kimmeridgian clay-limestone soils impart specific minerality. Tremblay employs traditional techniques, including whole-cluster fermentation and ageing in new oak barrels, focusing on expressing the vineyard`s unique terroir characteristics.
