Situated within the Pessac-Léognan appellation, Domaine de Chevalier is a leading wine estate which was recognized as a Grand Cru Classé de Graves in 1959 for both red and white wines. Its Grand Vin from the 1996 vintage continues to showcase impressive fruit characteristics, featuring blackcurrant and black plum. Complemented by notes of tobacco and a subtle earthiness, the wine exhibits a delightful brightness in acidity, delivering a remarkably fresh profile and exceptional finesse.
