Bonneau Châteauneuf-du-Pape Célestins 2009 is a full-bodied red wine produced in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation of the southern Rhône Valley. Domaine Henri Bonneau is one of the iconic producers of Châteauneuf-du-Pape with just six hectares of vineyards split between the legendary La Crau and Couthézon sub-zones. Réserve des Célestins is the top cuvée of the domaine and a true collector`s item for French wine enthusiasts. "Deep ruby. Seductive scents of ripe blackberry and boysenberry, singed plum and star anise, lifted by an intense floral topnote. Sweet, expansive dark fruit flavours show excellent concentration, with suggestions of liquorice pastille and orange pith giving the wine an exotic character. Shows outstanding clarity and power on the extremely long finish, which is shaped by smooth, slow-building tannins." Vinous, 2015
