Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Beyond

A blend characterised by the signature grape varieties of the Southern Rhône: Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah and Mouvèdre. This is the blend behind glorious Côte de Rhône and Châteauneuf du Pape reds from some of the finest producers the region has to offer. Domaine Pegau’s CNDPs are layered and complex, with sumptuous texture, exhibiting delicious notes of black cherry, wild herbs, dried flowers, leather and spices. Domaine la Barroche boasts a cuvée produced from almost entirely Grenache from a tiny parcel of classically sandy soils. Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe is a family owned and operated estate, with their flagship red comprised of around 65% Grenache, 15% Mourvedre, 10% Cinsault and 10% Syrah from the prime lieu-dit of La Crau. A nuanced profile of intense red berry fruits and an array of wild herb and dried flower scents. Amply endowed with concentrated fruit and silky tannins, it is remarkably refined and elegant wine.
