This entry-level Bourgogne Rouge is a lovely wine of admirable richness and complexity such that it far belies its modest categorisation. A product of the warm 2018 vintage, it is generous with fruit yet is endowed with reassuring vigour and lithe tannins, culminating in a wonderfully long finish. Though perhaps created with earlier drinking in mind, this may well develop nicely with age.
