Bourgogne Rouge is a large AOC of around 2,000ha which encompasses the ‘regional’ quality level of dry red wines of 300-odd communes of Burgundy. Bourgogne Rouge wines may be produced from grapes grown in any one (or more) of these communes, which extend from Chablis in the north to Beaujolais in the south.
