Domaine Coche-Dury is a highly regarded Burgundy wine producer, which was established in the 1920s. Today, the estate consists of approximately nine hectares, predominantly in and around their winery in Meursault. This 2016 Bourgogne Pinot Noir is medium-bodied wine, brimming with notes of cherries and dried flowers, subtly framed by new oak.

Vinous
The 2016 Bourgogne Rouge is absolutely divine. Beautifully defined black plum and wild strawberry mixed with pressed violet petal feature on a nose that, frankly, is indistinguishable from a Premier Cru. The palate is full of tension, almost chalky tannins framing the vibrant black fruit with exquisite detail on the finish. Bought off a restaurant list for under €50, this was money very well spent. Tasted at Maufoux restaurant in Chablis while relishing England`s victory over Germany in the Euros. Neal Martin1st August 2021
