The 2009 Bourgogne Blanc has a relatively straightforward nose, considering the grower. It is vibrant considering the vintage, with touches of flint and that telltale reductive element. The palate shows admirable concentration for a regional white. It is bright and perky with lemon and orange rind and the right amount of bitterness lining the finish. Very fine.
