Domaine Coche-Dury Auxey-Duresses 2006 is a medium-bodied Burgundy red wine from the Auxey-Duresses appellation of the Côte de Beaune. Coche-Dury is one of the most prestigious estates in Burgundy. The domaine was established in Meursault in the 1920s by Léon Coche and in 1973 was renamed Coche-Dury when Léon`s grandson, Jean-François, added his wife’s surname. This red cuvée is produced from two parcels totalling 0.5ha in the Auxey-Duresses lieux-dits of Les Fosses et Les Boutonniers. The vines are planted in red marl soils. "An expressive and pretty nose of raspberry and cranberry with earth nuances leads to detailed, pure and round fruit-driven flavors that are rather fine for this appellation and as Coche correctly suggests, this will drink well young." Burghound, 2009
