Ladoix

Côte de Beaune, Burgundy, France

The Burgundy appellation of Ladoix covers both red and white wines produced from the commune of Ladoix-Serrigny at the northern end of the Côte de Beaune. More than three-quarters of the production of Ladoix is devoted to red wines made from Pinot Noir grapes (no doubt a consequence of the appellation’s proximity to, and reflected glory from, Le Corton – Côte de Beaune’s only red wine Grand Cru). White wines are produced from Chardonnay, with smaller roles given to Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris.
