Silver Oak Napa Valley 2009 is a medium-bodied red wine produced from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes in the Napa Valley of California. Since its first vintage in 1972, Silver Oak has established a reputation as one of California’s most renowned producers of Napa Cabernet. On the 2009 Napa Valley Cabernet. "Moderately saturated dark red. Some exotic nutty oak tones to the aromas of black- and redcurrant, cherry, bitter chocolate, tobacco leaf and menthol. A suave, slightly herbal midweight with good clarity and inner-mouth lift and a whiff of exotic flowers. But I wanted a bit more intensity and length.
