Domaine AF Gros Richebourg 1990 is a red Grand Cru Burgundy produced from Pinot Noir in the esteemed Vosne-Romanée appellation. The 1990 vintage in Burgundy was exceptionally successful, producing concentrated wines that combine power with elegance. This mature wine exhibits a complex bouquet of dried red cherries, forest floor, sous-bois, black truffle and a hint of exotic spice. The palate is full-bodied, rich, and velvety, offering layers of dark, macerated fruit supported by well-integrated tannins and a long, persistent finish.

Robert Parker
The Richebourg rivals the best of the vintage, with an explosive nose of minerals, black fruits, flowers, and smoky new oak. In the mouth, this is great stuff - smashingly rich, voluptuous, opulent and full-bodied, with layer upon layer of sweet black fruits that are bolstered and defined by new oak and adequate acidity. Drink it over the next 10-12 years. From another branch of the ubiquitous Gros family in Vosne-Romanee, wines of this producer share a similarity with the wines of the Domaine Anne et Francois Gros, as well as those of Domaine Jean Gros. - Robert M. Parker, Jr.
