Coche-Dury Puligny-Montrachet Les Enseignères 2021 is a medium-bodied Burgundy white wine from the lieu-dit of Les Enseignères in the Puligny-Montrachet commune of the Côte de Beaune. Coche-Dury is one of the most prestigious estates in Meursault, described by Jancis Robinson MW as "the most reliable source of great white Burgundies". The domaine was established in the 1920s by Léon Coche and in 1973 was renamed Coche-Dury when Léon`s grandson, Jean-François, added his wife’s surname. Les Enseignères is located just below the prestigious Grand Cru vineyard of Bâtard-Montrachet and it often shares similar characteristics to the Grand Cru wines. "The 2021 Puligny-Montrachet Enseignères has a lovely bouquet, showing more complexity than the Meursault Village, crushed rock commingling with apple blossom and freshly sliced pear. The palate is very well-balanced with candied orange and citrus peel, taut and tensile, with a slightly austere yet captivating finish. If only all Puligny Village Crus could achieve this level of refinement." Neal Martin, 2023
