Yves Boyer Martenot is a wine estate covering approximately 10 hectares in spread across various appellations of the Côte de Beaune. The family-owned Domaine is currently managed by Vincent Boyer, a hard-working vigneron focused on quality over quantity. This release comes from the Domaine’s plot in the Premier Cru ‘Le Cailleret’, situated on the same line of the slope as the famous ‘Le Montrachet’ Grand Cru. The wine is typically defined by a pure and elegant minerality, with aromas of white fruit.

Pure, bright aromas of peach and hazelnut. Juicy, penetrating and classy, if rather austere today for the vintage. Smooth and seamless wine, finishing with subtle persistence.Stephen Tanzer1st September 2002

The zesty lemon and pear-scented 2000 Puligny-Montrachet Cailleret is light to medium-bodied and tightly wound. This lace-like, detail-oriented wine is well-made and reveals apples, minerals, and pears in its flavor profile. Projected maturity: now-2009.
