Château Plince is a family-owned estate in the Pomerol appellation of Bordeaux, known for producing high-quality red wines primarily made from the Merlot grape variety. The estate covers approximately 9 hectares of vineyards, and the wines are crafted with a focus on expressing the unique terroir of Pomerol. The 2008 vintage offers a complex bouquet of ripe red and black fruits, such as blackcurrants, plums and red cherries, along with notes of tobacco, cedar, and a hint of truffle. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied, with a rich fruit character, silky tannins, and balancing acidity.
