The Château Petit Village 2009 is a powerful and opulent Bordeaux from Pomerol, blended from 75% Merlot, 18% Cabernet Franc and 7% Cabernet Sauvignon. The 2009 vintage in Bordeaux was defined by intense heat and dry conditions that yielded wines with immense ripeness, concentration and soft, luxurious tannins. This expression exhibits a dense core of black plum, liquorice and cedar, balanced by a generous, silky texture, possessing a full-bodied palate and a long, warm finish that reflects the vintage`s successful solar character.

Robert Parker
Their finest effort since 1982, Petit Village has turned out a beautifully generous, succulent, fleshy 2009 with loads of ripe plum, black currant, black cherry, mocha and subtle earthy undertones. Round, flamboyant, dense and rich, with low acidity, outstanding concentration and purity, and a long finish, this outstanding wine should drink well for up to 15 or more years. - Robert M. Parker, Jr.
