Duty Charges

Below is a summary of the new duty charges per bottle as of February 2026. Please note that these vary depending on the ABV and are subject to change. Please get in touch if you require more information:

Transparent Billing and Rate Calculations

Annual Billing: Clients are invoiced annually based on the wines stored in the preceding year.
Case Equivalents: A case is defined as 9 litres of wine (typically twelve 750ml bottles), ensuring clarity in pricing.
Pro-Rata Charges: Storage fees are charged on a per-bottle basis, and wines stored for part of a month will be billed accordingly.

How to Use Our Bonded Storage

Purchase en primeur or under-bond wines from Hedonism Wines.
Automatically enjoy twelve months of free storage at our bonded storage when you open your storage account.
After twelve months, your storage will continue at the rates outlined above, with quarterly invoicing.
When you are ready to receive your wines, simply request delivery. Most orders are fulfilled within 3-4 working days.

Pavillon Blanc is the highly coveted white wine produced by Château Margaux. It stands as one of Bordeaux`s most exceptional white wines, exclusively composed of 100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes. The wine undergoes a maturation process in French oak barrels, including a portion of new oak, which enhances its complexity and structural qualities. The 2005 Bordeaux vintage was truly outstanding, producing a wealth of elegant and sophisticated wines.

Brisk aromas of citrus skin, flowers, minerals and mint, along with a deeper hint of honey. Wonderfully fresh in the mouth yet sweet, with highly concentrated flavors of grapefruit, lemon, mint and fresh herbs. There's a coolness to this wine but at the same time more creaminess and body than the comparatively crisp 2004. The second consecutive outstanding vintage for this 100%-sauvignon blanc cuvee (A retaste of the 2004 turned up exhilarating aromas of white peach and grapefruit, wonderful ripeness in a classically dry package, and outstanding persistence. A Legacy of Fine Wine

Château Margaux is one of the most striking constructions in the Bordeaux appellation, a large grand house built in the early 18th century on an estate that has been producing fine wine for hundreds of years, with a history dating back to the 12th century Bordeaux wine tradition. Quality was known to fluctuate in the first half of the 20th century, but that period of inconsistency ended with the arrival of wunderkind Paul Pontallier, a talented winemaker who worked nearly 35 vintages and produced some of the greatest wines in living memory. Paul passed on in 2016, and the team is now led by Philippe Bascaules and Sebastien Vergne, with consultancy from Eric Boissenot.

82 hectares are dedicated to red wine vines, with around 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, and 5% Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Château Margaux produces around 30,000 cases of wine annually, with the Grand Vin accounting for around 35% of that total. Among their celebrated wines is Pavillon Rouge, the second wine of the estate, which stands as a testament to the estate's commitment to quality.

In addition to their renowned red wines, Château Margaux also produces a limited quantity of Sauvignon Blanc, adding another layer to their esteemed collection of Margaux wines. This white wine complements their offerings and demonstrates the estate’s versatility.
