Competitive storage rates: £15 per 12-bottle case per year, £7.50 per 6-bottle case per year, equivalent to £1.25 per standard bottle. Alternative formats will be charged accordingly.

Quick and efficient delivery: Wines can be cleared and delivered within the UK in 3-4 working days.
Quarterly invoicing for storage fees to keep the process simple and transparent.

Duty Charges

Below is a summary of the new duty charges per bottle as of February 2026. Please note that these vary depending on the ABV and are subject to change. Please get in touch if you require more information:

Transparent Billing and Rate Calculations

Annual Billing: Clients are invoiced annually based on the wines stored in the preceding year.
Case Equivalents: A case is defined as 9 litres of wine (typically twelve 750ml bottles), ensuring clarity in pricing.
Pro-Rata Charges: Storage fees are charged on a per-bottle basis, and wines stored for part of a month will be billed accordingly.

How to Use Our Bonded Storage

Purchase en primeur or under-bond wines from Hedonism Wines.
Automatically enjoy twelve months of free storage at our bonded storage when you open your storage account.
After twelve months, your storage will continue at the rates outlined above, with quarterly invoicing.
When you are ready to receive your wines, simply request delivery. Most orders are fulfilled within 3-4 working days.

The 2003 release from illustrious First Growth Estate Château Mouton Rothschild marks the 150th anniversary of Mouton’s entry into the family to which it has since belonged without interruption for five generations. Produced from a blend of 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot.

Showcasing a Cabernet-driven nose with aromas of blackcurrant and cedarwood along with caramel and stewed fruit. Rich on the palate, with well-rounded tannins, spicy, cigar and eucalyptus character. The iconic label is a tribute to Baron Nathaniel de Rothschild (1812-1870), Baroness Philippine de Rothschild`s direct ancestor from the English branch of the family who acquired the Mouton estate on 11 May 1853.

The 2003 Mouton Rothschild has a powerful nose with slightly smudged summer fruit, leather, dates, forest floors and a touch of eucalyptus. The palate is medium-bodied and fleshy, with powdery tannins and better acidity than the Clerc Milon. It's quite tertiary, with just a little VA on the roasted coffee bean finish. The question is whether this will go anywhere interesting with further cellaring? Tasted at the château. Neal Martin1st August 2023

The prestigious Château Mouton Rothschild estate is home to the world-renowned First Growth of the same name, in addition to a second red wine, Petit Mouton and a white wine, made in smaller quantities, known as L'Aile d'Argent. Established in 1853 by Baron Nathaniel de Rothschild, the Château pioneered the idea of bottling their own wine in the 1920s while other properties were still selling and exporting in barrel. A Second Growth until 1972, the winery was officially elevated to the high rank of Bordeaux classification in 1973 after much campaigning by the famous Baron Philippe de Rothschild.

Cabernet Sauvignon that takes pride of place in the wines of Mouton Rothschild, with smaller percentages of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Cabernet Sauvignon always predominates in the Mouton red, giving the wine its rich tannins, wealth of aroma, flavour and superb ageing capacity. Meanwhile Merlot, an inseparable companion, brings suppleness, roundness and exceptional length.
