Ramonet Montrachet 2009 is a full-bodied Burgundy white wine from the Grand Cru climat of Montrachet in the Côte de Beaune. based in Chassagne-Montrachet, Domaine Jean-Claude Ramonet is an acclaimed Burgundy estate producing some of Burgundy`s most highly regarded wines. Originally founded in the late 1920s by Pierre Ramonet, the domaine is currently run by Noël Ramonet and his brother Jean-Claude. Old vines and low yields form the foundation of Ramonet`s viticultural ethos, and vines younger than 18 years are not used in the top cuvées. This is the domaine`s Grand Cru Montrachet from the opulent 2009 vintage. Expect full-bodied flavours of ripe pear and citrus with hints of hazelnut cream and a fine seam of chalky minerality.
