Monthelie Rouge 2017 from Coche-Dury is a village-level red from the Côte de Beaune, produced from Pinot Noir on clay-limestone soils. The 2017 vintage was warm and dry, yielding concentrated, expressive fruit with balance and freshness. The wine shows aromas of red cherry, raspberry, subtle spice and earthy notes, with a delicate floral nuance. On the palate it is medium-bodied, precise and silky, with fine-grained tannins, vibrant acidity and a long, elegant finish.
