Domaine Coche-Dury is a highly regarded producer, which was originally established in the 1920s. Today, the estate consists of approximately nine hectares, predominantly in and around their winery in Meursault. The estate is best known for its highly collectible white wines made from Chardonnay, but also produces red Burgundy in small quantities. This particular release hails from Monthélie, a village in the Côte de Beaune which has had its own communal appellation since 1937. The 2016 vintage produced charming and potentially long-lived reds, with a winning combination of bright, expressive fruit paired with excellent acidity.
