The Château Miraval Côtes de Provence Rosé is the estate`s flagship wine, crafted from a blend of grape varieties including Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah and Rolle. The vineyards are situated on terraced slopes with clay and limestone soils, which contribute to the wine`s distinct character. Winemaking at Château Miraval is a collaborative effort between the estate`s team and the Perrin family, a well-respected winemaking family from the Rhône Valley. The grapes are hand-harvested, and the winemaking process involves direct pressing and temperature-controlled fermentation, ensuring that the wine`s freshness and fruit flavours are preserved. The 2022 vintage is bursting with notes of red berries, citrus fruits and white peaches, with a mineral edge. Available here in a stunning 3-litre bottle.

A blend of Cinsault, Grenache, Rolle and Syrah, sourced from vines planted on clay-limestone soils, the 2022 Cotes de Provence Rose reveals aromas of red berries, spices, peach, watermelon, spring flowers and pomegranate. Medium-bodied and elegantly oaky with a spicy touch, it’s fresh and fruity with a mouthwatering, elegant finish. This rosé benefits from the expertise of the Perrin family.Yohan Castaing8th June 2023

Rosé Perfection from Provence

Located in the ancient town of Correns in the heart of Provence, Château Miraval is an idyllic wine estate as well-known for its A-list celebrity associations as for its benchmark-setting rosés: Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie bought Miraval in 2008 (Pitt is still the majority owner), while the estate remains the site of a renowned music studio that has hosted the likes of Pink Floyd, AC/DC/ The Cure and Sting, to name but a few.

Winemaking at Château Miraval is overseen by the Perrin family, thanks to whom Miraval has become a byword for premium-quality Provence rosé. The estate vineyards are situated on terraced slopes with clay and limestone soils, which contribute to the wine’s distinct character. The grapes are hand-harvested, and the winemaking process involves direct pressing and temperature-controlled fermentation, ensuring that the wine’s freshness and fruit flavours are preserved.
