Located just south of Volnay and Pommard in the Côte de Beaune, Meursault is a vast appellation usually known for its exceptional white wines, but it also produces reds with great character. This expression from Domaine Coche-Dury is quite light in colour with a distinctive Pinot Noir nose packed with red fruit and scented flowers. The palate has a rich red fruit core, and the finish is persistent.

Vinous
The 2018 Meursault Village Rouge offers copious aromas of red cherry and blueberry fruit, cranberry jus and touches of rose petal. The palate is chewy on the entry, a little tough at the moment but possessing plenty of matière and delivering spicy dark berry and mulberry fruit toward the grippy finish.
