Domaine Jean-François Coche-Dury is a leading producer in Burgundy, famed for producing some of the most in-demand white wines in the world. Today, the estate is led by Raphaël Coche-Dury and consists of approximately nine hectares, predominantly in and around their winery in Meursault. This particular release is the domaine’s ‘Les Perrières’, a premier cru vineyard situated at the southern end of Meursault. The 1997 vintage is drinking beautifully now, crystalline and razor-sharp, boasting notes of hazelnuts, almonds and honeyed pineapple on the palate.

Vinous
Smoked meat, spice and quince on the nose. Fat, sweet and very rich, yet manages to retain good freshness. Very long, strong finish coats the palate with ripe fruit and mineral flavors.Stephen Tanzer1st September 1999
