Meursault Les Rougeots Coche-Dury 2022 is a white Burgundy produced in the Côte de Beaune region. This wine is crafted from Chardonnay grapes sourced from a 0.7-hectare plot within the Les Rougeots vineyard, notable for its old vines planted in 1940, 1962, and 1973. The vineyard`s clay-limestone soil influences the wine`s character, showcasing a medium to full-bodied structure. The wine reveals a layered profile with lively acidity and a chalky texture.

The 2022 Meursault Rougeots has good weight and presence on the nose, with touches of dried honey/honeycomb, nutmeg and grilled walnut emerging with time. The palate is beautifully balanced with vivid, quite citric fruit. It's quite saline in style with a linear, tensile finish that lingers long in the mouth. There's so much energy coiled up here.Neal Martin1st January 2025
