Coche-Dury Meursault Les Rougeots 2013 is a medium- to full-bodied Burgundy white wine from the Premier Cru climat of Les Caillerets in the Meursault appellation of the Côte de Beaune. Based in Meursault, Coche-Dury is a pre-eminent Burgundy wine producer, famous for its almost-mythical Chardonnay wines. The domaine was originally established in the 1920s by Léon Coche and today cultivates around 9 hectares of vineyards. This 2013 bottling comes from Les Rougeots, the renowned Meursault 1er Cru in which Coche-Dury owns a 0.7-hectare plot of vines planted in 1940, 1962 and 1973. On the 2013. "The 2013 Meursault Les Rougeots has a refined bouquet, not that far from the village cru in style, with fine tension and detail, a hint of honeysuckle there and orange blossom here. The palate is linear at first, nicely defined with lychee, white peach and dried pineapple. This feels elegant and long in the mouth with a gentle tender on the finish that gently fans out. It is a winsome Les Rougeots, although perhaps the Meursault Villages might dare to have the edge this year?" Neal Martin, 2016
