Vinous
Pale, greenish-yellow. Brisk aromas of lemon, lime and crushed stone. Rich, dense and very ripe but more minerally than the Rougeots; a note of marzipan shades to hazelnutty lees on the round, very long back end. There was a lot of millerandage here, notes Raphael Coche-Dury.Stephen Tanzer1st September 2011

The World's Greatest Chardonnay?
Top Burgundy producer Domaine Coche-Dury was founded in 1973 by Jean-François Coche. Now under the stewardship of son, Raphaël, the Coches farm nearly 9 hectares of vineyards across six communes: Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Auxey-Duresses, Monthelie and Volnay.
The Domaine is celebrated for its superb and highly acclaimed Chardonnay including Meursault Perrières, Meursault Les Chevalières, Corton Charlemagne and Puligny Montrachet Les Enseignères. With tiny yields and meticulous wine making, the Coche-Dury name is truly iconic on the Burgundy stage.
