Bernard-Bonin is a family-owned Domaine based in the village of Meursault. The estate, run by Nicolas Bernard and Veronique Bonin, follows organic and biodynamic practices in the vineyards, aiming to create wines that showcase the purity of the fruit. This release is sourced from ‘Le Limozin’, a vineyard is situated on an east-southeast facing slope, known for the limestone-rich soils and a specific microclimate. Expect a rich, mineral and vibrant style of Meursault that can be enjoyed now or cellared for a few more years.

The 2020 Meursault Limozon has a clean, fresh bouquet with orchard fruit and sports a subtle reduction. Chalky elements surface with time. The palate has a killer line of acidity, quite malic considering the vintage, almost Chablis-like as it eases towards the finish. Maybe it doesn't have the persistence of a top Premier Cru, but it is certainly a Village Cru at the top of its game. Tasted at Dorian restaurant in London. Neal Martin9th April 2024
