Bachelet-Monnot Meursault Clos du Cromin 2022 is a medium-bodied Burgundy white wine from the lieu-dit of Le Cromin in the Meursault appellation of the Côte de Beaune. Located in Dezize-lès-Maranges, Bachelet-Monnot is a relatively new Domaine founded in 2005 by Marc and Alexandre Bachelet. Alongside their team, the two brothers oversee a diverse portfolio of vineyards, encompassing 20 distinct appellations. Clos du Cromin is a walled site within the larger lieu-dit of Le Cromin in the northern section of Meursault. "The 2022 Meursault Clos du Cromin may lack a bit of bandwidth on the nose. quite strict citric fruit, a touch of grass clippings, and a bit closed on the day. The palate is well-balanced with good depth on the entry, orange rind, tangerine and grapefruit towards the long, if slightly attenuated, finish." Neal Martin, 2024

The focus is on traditional techniques, terroir-led winemaking - 50% new oak is used for Grand Cru wines, but employed to a lesser extent for Premier Cru and Village-level wines.

Key vineyards for Bachelet Monnot in Maranges are La Fussière, which they produce in both red and white, and Clos de la Boutière. In Puligny-Montrachet, Marc and Alexandre produce Premier Crus Les Referts and Folatières along with Grand Crus Bienvenues-Bâtard Montrachet and Bâtard-Montrachet.
