Based in Meursault, Coche-Dury is a well-established wine producer, famous for its almost-mythical white wines. The domaine was originally established in the 1920s by Léon Coche and today cultivates around 9 hectares of vineyards. This cuvée comes from Les Caillerets, a tiny, 1-hectare premier cru vineyard within the Meursault appellation. The 2008 vintage is a powerful and racy expression, revealing notes of lemon sherbet, melon, peach, vanilla and some hazelnuts.

A sexy note of orange blossom on the steely nose. Suave and streamlined; structured but not quite austere. There's no shortage of fat to the creamy orange flavor but the finish is quite firm, not to mention very long and perfumed. Lovely wine.Stephen Tanzer1st September 2010
