Meursault Arnaud Ente 2005 is a white Burgundy from one of the premier growers in the appellation, renowned for his focus on viticulture and low yields. The winery operates small, meticulously farmed plots within Meursault, with this bottling sourced from the village-level vineyard En L`Ormeau. Made exclusively from Chardonnay, the 2005 vintage offers a rich and powerful expression shaped by the region`s unique terroir. On the palate, expect a layered profile with flavours of ripe apple, pear and delicate mineral notes, alongside a hint of nougat from barrel ageing.

Balance and Complexity

A leading light in Meursault, Burgundy, Arnaud Ente and his wife, Marie-Odile craft exquisite micro-production Burgundies that easily compete with the finest in the region. The Domaine owns four hectares which are managed with a very small and hands-on team. The key grape varieties here are Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, used to produce stand out Meursault, Puligny Montrachet and Bourgogne Pinot Noir that are renowned for their precision and elegance.

The style has tended towards the opulent, with late picking for fuller ripeness being a key part of Arnaud's philosophy in the 1990s. More recently though the wines have presented with greater levels of freshness and minerality as the winemaking practices have changed and evolved.
