Arnaud Ente Meursault 2019 is a medium-bodied Burgundy white wine from the Meursault appellation of the Côte de Beaune. A leading light in Meursault, Burgundy, Arnaud Ente and his wife, Marie-Odile craft exquisite micro-production Burgundies that easily compete with the finest in the region. On the 2019 Meursault. "The 2019 Meursault Village unwinds in the glass with aromas of pear, wheat toast, white flowers and orange oil, framed by a discreet touch of youthful reduction. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and incisive, with a pretty core of fruit, racy acids and a bright, mouthwatering finish, it derives from two lieux-dits. En l`Ormeau on the plain (which is also the source of Ente`s Clos des Ambres and Sève du Clos bottlings) and Les Casse-Têtes on the hillside; the vines having been planted in 1952–1953 and 1998, respectively." William Kelley, 2021

The style has tended towards the opulent, with late picking for fuller ripeness being a key part of Arnaud's philosophy in the 1990s. More recently though the wines have presented with greater levels of freshness and minerality as the winemaking practices have changed and evolved.
