Mazis-Chambertin Pascal Marchand 2010 is a Grand Cru red Burgundy, produced exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes sourced from the prestigious Mazis-Chambertin vineyard located in Gevrey-Chambertin, Côte de Nuits. Pascal Marchand operates as a négociant-éleveur, collaborating with select growers to procure grapes from top-quality plots, highlighting a commitment to sustainable practices. The wine displays a complex bouquet of ripe red and dark fruits, with hints of earthy notes and minerality. The palate presents robust structure, reflecting firm tannins and a well-defined acidity, suggesting considerable ageing potential.

Vinous
(50% vendange entier): Good bright red. Fresh raspberry, crushed stone, orange zest and peppery spices on the nose. Juicy, imploded and penetrating, with outstanding precision to its flavors of raspberry, red cherry, pepper and blood orange. This has the inner-palate aromatic lift of a topnotch Chambolle. Finishes with rising, palate-staining red fruit perfume and outstanding verve. Wonderfully classy Mazis.
