Mas de Daumas Gassac Blanc 2009 is a white wine from the Gassac Valley in the Languedoc. This unique blend incorporates Viognier, Petit Manseng, Chardonnay and Chenin Blanc, alongside several rare varieties. The valley benefits from a microclimate created by the nearby sea and mountains, with soils consisting of glacial deposits. Fermentation occurs with wild yeasts at cool temperatures to preserve vibrancy. The 2009 vintage produced a wine with rich orchard fruit and floral notes, supported by a distinct mineral freshness. It is aged for 12 to 15 months in oak barrels, resulting in a wine that possesses both youthful approachability and the structure to age gracefully.
