`JF Ganevat Les Chalasses Marnes Bleues 2008 is a full-bodied white wine produced from Savignin grapes in the Jura region of France. Jean-Francois Ganevat is one of the most celebrated producers of the Jura region in eastern France and is a leading light in biodynamic viticulture and natural winemaking. Having trained in Beaune and worked at Domaine Jean-Marc Morey for almost a decade, he returned to his family estate in 1998 and took the helm, the 14th generation of his family to do so since 1650. Les Chalasses Bleues is a ouillé (topped-up) style of white wine produced from old-vine Savignin grown on Jura`s prized blue marl soil.
