Established in 1843, Krug holds a prestigious position alongside renowned brands such Dom Pérignon and Cristal in the realm of champagne. Described by founder Joseph Krug as a `champagne of circumstances` in his personal notebook, Krug Vintage offerings represent a blend of the most expressive wines from a specific year, enriched by more than a decade of ageing in the cellars. The Krug 1969 is a rare cuvée reserved for those truly exceptional occasions.

Elegant Luxury

A Champagne house that needs no introduction. Founded by Johann Krug in Reims in 1843, this celebrated Maison specialises in prestige cuvées, including the multi-vintage flagship Grande Cuvée as well as the glorious Krug Clos d'Ambonnay, made exclusively from Pinot Noir. Another highlight is the highly coveted Clos du Mesnil - a rare Blanc de Blancs produced only in exceptional years from a single, tiny 1.84ha plot of Chardonnay grapes in the heart of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. Krug has been owned by LVMH since 1999.

While Krug's excellent Grande Cuvée and Rosé have historically been released as multi-vintage blends with no indication of year, the team have now started including edition numbers so consumers can easily discover the age and provenance of the base wines used in the blend.
