Jacquesson Cuvée 743 Dégorgement Tardif is a late-disgorged Champagne based on the 2015 vintage, having spent additional years maturing in the house cellars. The 2015 harvest provided a powerful and structured base, which has been further refined by the extended contact with the lees. This DT release offers a complex and savoury profile, featuring notes of dried fruits, toasted brioche and honey. The palate is expansive, yet it retains a sharp, chalky acidity that defines the Jacquesson style. By allowing the wine to mature for a decade before this release, the estate has achieved a harmony between primary fruit energy and sophisticated autolytic depth.

Sculpted and precise, the NV Extra-Brut Cuvée No. 743 Dégorgement Tardif (base 2015) impresses with its tension. There's a touch of reduction that further adds to the wine's freshness. All the elements are so well balanced. Lemon confit, candied ginger, spice and tangerine peel are some of the many nuances that take shape with a bit of air. Extended time on the lees softened this quite nicely. Finished with no dosage. Disgorged: March 2024. Antonio Galloni8th April 2025

Based on the 2015 vintage and disgorged in August 2019 without dosage, the Chiquet brothers` NV Extra-Brut Cuvée No. 743 is showing nicely, offering up inviting aromas of freshly baked bread, crisp yellow orchard fruit, beeswax and dried white flowers. Medium to full-bodied, pillowy and precise, it`s elegantly fleshy, with an enveloping core of fruit, a pinpoint mousse and a nicely defined, saline finish. - William Kelley
