Hakushu 10 Year Old Owner’s Cask EF41797 2000 is a Japanese single malt distilled in 2000 and bottled in 2011. This expression matured for a decade in a single oak cask and was released as part of the prestigious Owner’s Cask program. The profile is bright and herbal, featuring notes of grapefruit, basil and a subtle, wispy smoke that lingers on the finish. At a natural strength, the spirit offers a clean and precise delivery of the mountain malt character, showcasing the benefit of pure alpine air and soft forest water. This bottling represents one of the final vintages released under the program, making it a significant historical artefact for enthusiasts of the Suntory portfolio and its diverse range of distillation styles.
