The 2008 vintage was characterized by a relatively cool and rainy spring, followed by a hot, dry summer. This led to a slightly later harvest than usual, allowing the grapes to achieve full phenolic ripeness. Upon release, ‘Guado al Tasso 2008’ was praised for its elegance and balance. It exhibits notes of blackcurrant, plum, and black cherry, intermingled with hints of Mediterranean herbs, sweet spices, and a distinct mineral undertone.
