Duty Charges

Below is a summary of the new duty charges per bottle as of February 2026. Please note that these vary depending on the ABV and are subject to change. Please get in touch if you require more information:

Transparent Billing and Rate Calculations

Annual Billing: Clients are invoiced annually based on the wines stored in the preceding year.
Case Equivalents: A case is defined as 9 litres of wine (typically twelve 750ml bottles), ensuring clarity in pricing.
Pro-Rata Charges: Storage fees are charged on a per-bottle basis, and wines stored for part of a month will be billed accordingly.

How to Use Our Bonded Storage

Purchase en primeur or under-bond wines from Hedonism Wines.
Automatically enjoy twelve months of free storage at our bonded storage when you open your storage account.
After twelve months, your storage will continue at the rates outlined above, with quarterly invoicing.
When you are ready to receive your wines, simply request delivery. Most orders are fulfilled within 3-4 working days.

Part of the Marchesi Antinori group since the 1930s, the Guado al Tasso estate is situated in the small yet prestigious Bolgheri DOC, along the upper Maremma coastline. The DOC Bolgheri achieved official recognition in 1995 and has since become a globally acknowledged benchmark in the Italian and international markets. Guado Al Tasso`s flagship wine typically consists of a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and occasionally a dash of Petit Verdot. The 2003 Guado Al Tasso continues to display remarkable longevity. It opens with enticing notes of pine forest, camphor, leather, and red fruit. On the palate, red fruit takes the centre stage, complemented by hints of pepper and cacao undertones. The tannins have melded seamlessly and are tames, with no rough edges. The finish is long and very rewarding.

(a blend of merlot, cabernet sauvignon and syrah) Medium-dark ruby. Inky aromas of raspberry and dark chocolate, complicated by truffle, black pepper and rosemary and lifted by a floral nuance. Opulent, dense and sweet, with rich, broad, liqueur-like red berry and spicecake flavors complicated by mocha and leather. Very smooth wine, with suave, ripe tannins and a rich, long finish. No 2002 was made, which might be a shame since in the past lesser vintages gave wonderful results here (witness the 1992).Ian d'Agata1st September 2006

While technically a wine rather than a winery, Marchesi Antinori's flagship red wine, Supertuscan Tignanello, has become an icon in its own right. Produced from the Tignanello estate, this wine is one of Italy’s most recognized and celebrated fine wines. Tignanello is a blend of mostly Sangiovese wines with lesser parts Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, showcasing the Antinori family's mastery in winemaking.

Situated in the heart of Chianti Classico, in the gently rolling hillsides between the Greve and Pesa river valleys, the Tenuta Tignanello vineyard produces these influential wines. Tignanello was the first Sangiovese to be aged in barriques, the first contemporary red wine blended with untraditional varieties (specifically Cabernet), and one of the first red wines in the Chianti Classico region not to use white grapes. This innovation has made it a modern red wine that stands out among its peers.

The Antinori estate also produces a superb Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon Grappa, a full-bodied Bordeaux-style red called Guado al Tasso, and delicate yet refined white wines from Castello della Sala, adding to its portfolio of iconic wines. The legacy of the Antinori family is evident in every bottle of these exceptional Italian wines.
